Video Translation: #WhyISign. Hi! It's autism awareness month. I have autism. Since I was little, I've always talked using my hands. I'm hearing but I decided to try ASL. It's helped me. Why do I sign? During times when I can't, or don't like to talk, ASL helps me to communicate my emotions. My friends understand ASL so they understand me. ASL helps me to express myself during times when it's hard.
